Peppermint essential oil have a wide range of benefits. This oil is used over 5000 years . Lots of (1200 approx.) medical studies are done about peppermint essential oil. Peppermint oil is one of the most used Essential Oils in the World.
Main component of this oil is menthol that is acting like analgesic, reducing inflammation and has role of an antioxidant.

Usage:
– Topically

- for kids, elderly and pregnant women dilute in carrier oil (coconut),

- one drop under the tongue,
- one drop into the glass of water,
- 2 drops into the veggie capsule and swallow.
– Aromatically

- put couple of drops to your palms, rub them together, cover your nose and breathe.

Natural Tooth Paste:
Mix
- 1 Tbsp (Tablespoon) of Coconut Oil,
- 1 Tbsp of Baking Soda and
- 20 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil.
Mouth Wash / Breath Freshener:
- Drink glass of water with one drop of Peppermint Essential Oil.
Concentration, focus, lift your mood and energy:
- Mix to defuse during learning or doing tests in the classrooms.
- 3-5 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil
- 3-5 drops of Cedarwood Essential Oil
Peppermint EO improves energy, concentration, focus and assisting mood.
Cedarwood EO is known in helping with ADHD symptoms and improves focus as well.
Soothe and cool digestive tract:
Peppermint helps soothe irritable bowel syndrome and leaky gut like issues. Bloating, gases, car sickness, motion sickness…
- Just 1 to 2 drops in the glass of water, taken daily is considered greatly beneficial.
- You can drink in water or / and apply over your stomach skin directly.

- Put several drops of Peppermint Essential Oil in a water spray bottle.

Natural vapor rub:
Mix of Peppermint and Eucalyptus helps open up airways and lungs. Use it on the chest like natural vapor rub.
- 1Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 5 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil
- 5 drops of Eucalyptus Essential Oil
For allergy season:
- 1 drop of Peppermint Essential Oil under the tongue
- or one drop in glass of water to drink
- or rub 1 to 2 drops in your neck
Opens Lungs and Sinus airways helping you breathe better.
Defuse it overnight:
Put 4 to 10 drops in diffuser and leave it to defuse overnight near your bed. It will help you better sleep by opening airways. Helps with mucus as well. (doTERRA diffuser have timer option to work 10 hours, every 5 minutes on and 5 minutes off)
Roller bottles 10ml:
Depends for what you need, 1 to 5% should be dilution.
- Take empty roller bottle, put between 2 and 10 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil and top up with Fractionated Coconut Oil.
- Roll it over nose bridge and on your chest.
Naturally helps eliminate Headaches:
- 3 drops of Lavender Essential Oil
- 3 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil (or only Peppermint E.O.)
- On to your palm. Lightly rub palms together and than rub them on your neck and temples area
For cooling down:
If you are working in the sun or have sun burns or elevated body temperature, drop several drops of Peppermint Essential Oil into the spray water bottle and use it on your skin.
Muscle rub:
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 5 to 10 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil
- And you can add 5 to 10 drops of Frankincense Essential Oil as well if you have it in your collection of Essential Oils.
After workout apply directly to painful area to relieve sore muscles, sore joints, for arthritis, if you hurt your back by heavy lifting.
Use it in Cooking:
Peppermint Essential Oil you can add to any dish, dessert or drinks. If you find that 1 drop is too much, you can:
- use toothpick, stick it in the bottle and mix drink with it
- or smaller 2ml (5/8) bottles ( 1 tap on the bottle is approx. 1/3 of drop).
If you add 1 drop of Peppermint Essential Oil into the Chocolate Brownie mix, you will have nice and refreshing Peppermint Chocolate Brownie dessert.
