Garlic and Rosemary Beef Shanks

You will enjoy in this great savory taste of the beef shanks. There is nothing better than the smell of beef cooked in herbs and spices. Just to look at this meal and that wonderful smell is enough and even more delicious once you get your first bite! Amount of ingredients is for 2 person meal.

You will need:
300 grams – Beef Shank
1 tbsp – Red Wine Vinegar
3 cups – Beef Stock
1 tbsp – Olive Oil
3 cloves – crushed Garlic
2 sprigs – Rosemary
Salt and Pepper, to taste

How to do it:

1.- Heat olive oil in a braising pan.
2.- Season beef shanks with salt and pepper on both sides.
3.- Sear beef shanks until brown on both sides. Set aside.
3.- Add garlic into the same pan and stir over low heat until lightly caramelized.
4.- Add red wine stock, vinegar, and rosemary.
5.- Put back beef shanks into the pot and bring to a boil.
6.- Cover and simmer for about 2 hours or until beef is fork-tender, adding more water as needed.
